Clogging classes at MOVE with Celeste….While focusing mainly on contemporary clogging, we strive to preserve the roots of traditional clogging in a family friendly atmosphere. Clogging classes are available for all levels of clogging for ages 3 through adult. The lessons are progressive and continue to build skills and ability on previously learned steps and routines. The class season begins in September and runs through May, meeting once a week. We give back to the community with performances at the Orangeburg County Fair, Orangeburg Festival of Roses, and two annual performances at Stevenson Auditorium. Clogging is a great hobby that combines a love for dance with exercise in a fun environment! Summer sessions are also available, as well as recreational classes for adults.
Celeste has been involved in clogging as a student or instructor most of her life. She competed in the 1980s with the Palmetto State Cloggers of Columbia SC.
