Hello!! my name is Kevin Mullins and I am from the great State of West Virginia. I was a clogger as a child and then took 20 years away in refound a passion while on vacation and when I returned I found a group the next day and I have never turned back.
I am a former performer and instructor with The Southern Stompers Cloggers of Hamlin WV and a current instructor and advanced team performer with Guyan River Clogger’s. Our team is moving into competition Arena beginning 2024. I am an avid workshop attendee and have attended Cabin Fever, Smoky Mountain Encore, World of Clogging, Fontana Clogging Jamboree and Crossroads Stomp, just to name a few.
Our team is currently recreational, modern/ contemporary though we also do traditional clogging. We offer in person and virtual online beginner classes as well as virtual online intermediate classes. Our team is a NO FEE team! We do not charge for performances, attendance at venues, lessons, or shoes, we are dedicated to empowering our community Through clogging and wish to offer that to everyone regardless of financial status. We will buy your shoes for you if you are unable to. We raise finances via fundraisers, donations, dedicated small business sponsors, and performance donations to allow our troupe to attend workshops, competition fees, team purchase of costumes (no charge to dancer!) We always welcome anyone interested in clogging to come and visit. No need to dance, you can watch if you wish to. We hope to see you soon.
When I am not clogging, I am a Registered Nurse (BSN) of 21 years and counting. My current work is in the operating room thought my experience is in critical care, ER, Trauma, Cardiac Cath Lab, ECHO Lab and administration.
